FIGHTING FOR GAMERS' RIGHTS
"We do not own the games, if they do not give us physical editions."
Publishers sell licenses and call them purchases. They ship unfinished games and call them living services. They lock content on discs and call it DLC. They kill games and keep the money. These three commandments are the floor — not the ceiling — of what is acceptable.
No consumer shall pay for a game through digital storefronts before release and independent review. Physical preorders for tangible media remain permitted. If publishers want revenue before launch, they can press discs.
No publisher shall sell access to single-player content already present in the base game files the consumer purchased. When someone pays full price, they bought the data. All of it.
Any game with single-player content must include an offline fallback. When servers die, a final patch must unlock everything for local, indefinite play. Bricking solo content is theft.
